Hormones and Characteristics
Hormones and characteristics allow people to begin to understand the process behind puberty, targeting the chemicals in our body that enact puberty and the parts of our body that respond to those chemicals. It's important for children to know the proper names of these parts for reporting violations of consent and healthcare. Accurate pictures are included as well, though they are still in the process of being updated. These characteristics and hormones are not split by sex because sex variant and intersex bodies exist and sexual characteristics should not be grouped into a binary. Bodies can change in a multitude of ways and access to an array of traits better fits all children.

Changes
Changes describes what a person going through puberty might experience, giving words to them. Many of these are brand new experiences for children, so they are worded in a way that avoids grouping them into good and bad. This ultimately allows children to process puberty in their own time and way.

Menstruation
Menstruation is a must for a puberty board and is a necessary process that everyone should learn, not just those who menstruate. Everyone in the world is affected by menstruation and therefore it becomes a staple of the puberty board. It provides a a diverse range of experiences, showing that menstruation is not the same for all.

Birth
Birth becomes possible during puberty and therefore it is essential to learn about it to make educated decisions. Thus, the birth process is talked about, including what makes birth happen. This language can be used to educate and talk about birth and pregnancy.
